Fiducia has appointed Graeme McFarlane as development underwriter to support brokers across Scotland and the north east of England.

Graeme joins from Santander where he worked for seven years as a financial crime investigator. He brings more than 30 years’ experience within the marine insurance industry, having previously held both underwriting and broking positions.

In his new role, Graeme is tasked with developing Fiducia’s marine cargo and freight liability products across Scotland and the north east of England, as well as exploring cross selling opportunities of its other range of products.

Commenting on his appointment, Graeme said: “Fiducia has a strong reputation in the specialist insurance market for its responsive service, competitive terms and team of empowered, expert underwriters.
